For grown-ups

You need one pipe cleaner. Fold both wire ends over first and stay close.

Keep small parts away: if a job needs something to carry or bounce, use a cotton ball or a pom-pom bigger than your child's thumb, never a bead, button or coin. Small parts are a choking risk for young children.

TwistTots shows a shape for ten seconds and a job to do with it, then the screen goes dark. The game is on the table, not the screen. The idea underneath, that a shape decides what a thing can do, is the same idea the Fold Commons pathway picks up at nine, without naming any molecule here.

What it never does

  • No accounts, no ads, no tracking — anything kept stays on this device.
  • No streaks, timers to beat, points to chase or leaderboards.
  • No chat, and nothing anyone types is sent anywhere.

We describe what TwistTots is designed to practise. We do not claim it raises test scores.
