About ReframeQuest

What it is

ReframeQuest treats behavior as a clue. For each case you look for hidden stress in five areas, reframe a harsh judgment into a load (“not lazy — overloaded”), pick one stressor to reduce, and one way to restore.

Where the idea comes from

ReframeQuest is built on research about how stress can show up across five areas of life: the body, feelings, thinking, friends, and doing what’s right — and on the idea that a hard behavior is often a sign of too much load, not of who someone is. The words and cases here are our own.

Why it matters

When we see stress instead of character, we respond with help instead of blame — to other people and to ourselves.

What it is not

It is not a way to excuse hurting others, and it never names what a person “is”. It is a way to understand what might be going on.
