SecondLookForge

A look-again reflex trainer for ages 6–8: a maze you’d given up on, a second way to make ten, a king that looks trapped — each one LOOKS impossible, but there’s always a way. Find the second look before you say "no way out." Calm, anti-shame, on-device.

Distributed-narrative cast

Meet the cast

SecondLookForge's crew never says "impossible" until they've looked twice. Twice leads the way; Trace, Tally, and Peek each look again in their own corner; and Yield gives up a little too soon — so we get to cheer him on to look once more.

T

Twice

(Guide) never says "impossible" until she has looked twice — the look-again reflex itself

T

Trace

Follows the maze once more and finds the path everyone thought was blocked (a second look at a maze)

T

Tally

Finds a second way to make a number when everyone thought there was only one (a second look at a number)

P

Peek

Looks again at the board and spots the one safe square the king can escape to (a second look at a position)

Y

Yield

Gives up a little too soon — so the child learns to catch it; never teased, always cheered when he looks again (the too-early-quitter, anti-shame)
